In the soybean market, private exporters reported a sale of 264,000 metric tons to China for delivery in the 2025/2026 marketing year, offering supportive news ahead of China’s Lunar New Year holiday next week. A weaker U.S. dollar added additional underlying support to commodities today. Meanwhile, not all in India are enthusiastic about a potential trade deal with the United States, even as their government reiterated it will not change its stance on GMOs.
